Kanako Yasaka

Quick Summary

Kanako is a mandatory character, necessary to enter 13F. She plays a purely offensive role, with varied elements and big damage numbers. While she is very useful in many scenarios, there is usually a character with better minmax capability that has an advantage over her, making her best trait the synergy with Sanae and Suwako.

• Mad Dance on Medoteko
  • SPI magic spell that targets DEF
  • Chance to HVY(10000): 100
  • High damage and decent delay, and the HVY chance makes it deal even more damage later
• Misayama Hunting Ritual
  • AoE PHY magic spell that targets DEF
  • Has +30 ACC
  • Good damage for what it costs, very reliable for dealing with trash
• Beautiful Spring like Suiga
  • CLD magic spell that targets MND
  • Chance to ATK/MAG-debuff(18): 100
  • Very good nuke with good delay, the debuffs can also help a lot with some bosses
• Virtue of Wind God
  • AoE WND magic spell that targets MND
  • Very powerful and costly spell, excellent for nuking trash and bosses alike

Skills List

• HP/DEF/MAG Boost
  • MAG is extremely useful, and while the others help her longevity, they’re not a priority
• Believers of Moriya
  • Buffs self ATK/DEF/MAG/MND/SPD by 8/16 for each of Sanae/Suwako also in front
  • Vital if using the others, who can also be very useful
• Majesty
  • Buff self ATK/DEF/MAG/MND/SPD by 3/6 when she gets a turn
  • Very useful for slow starting buffs and keeping ones already present
• Strong Faith
  • Recovers 1/2/3 MP on Kanako’s turn if her HP is below 66%
  • Extremely useful skill to increase her MP longevity, what with her costly spells
• Sky Creation
  • Increases damage by 16/32 if Kanako is in slot 4 and all 4 slots are filled
  • Her most useful skill, it synergizes well with her intended slot, making it a vital skill if using her
• Desperation
  • Buffs ATK/DEF/MAG/MND/SPD/ACC/EVA by 25 when HP drops below 40/60%
  • Great skill to pair up with Strong Faith, giving her a significant buff and MP regen, but can be unreliable to keep active
